About the Ministry in Tijuana, Mexico
Rolando and Rubi known as The Coronado's Family felt the call from God to Serve the needs around the city of tijuana after starting doing bible studies to a community called el Lago they didnt knew God was creating a ministry. Parousia and Fundacion Manos Unidas de Amor was established in 2009 in Tijuana, Mexico as a response to a simple but powerful calling: to create a community where people could encounter God, grow in their faith, and walk together in genuine relationships centered on Jesus Christ.
The name Parousia comes from the Greek word used in the New Testament to describe the glorious return of Jesus Christ. It reflects the heart of the church — to live with expectancy, faith, and hope, rooted in Christ and His transforming work in our lives.
From the very beginning, Parousia has been more than a church building. It has been — and continues to be — a spiritual family, a place where people are welcomed as they are, loved intentionally, and encouraged to grow into all that God has created them to be.
Parousia Church
Parousia is a Christ-centered church community in Tijuana dedicated to helping people know God, grow in faith, and live out the love of Jesus in everyday life. We exist to create a welcoming spiritual home where individuals and families can encounter God, be transformed by His Word, and build meaningful relationships.
Through biblical teaching, discipleship, worship, and service, we seek to equip believers to walk in their purpose and reflect God’s love in their homes, workplaces, and communities.
Fundacion Manos Unidas de Amor
Fundación Manos Unidas de Amor is a nonprofit initiative in Tijuana dedicated to supporting children and young people with hope, care, and opportunity. Our mission is to walk alongside sons and daughters of our community by providing encouragement, practical assistance, and safe spaces where they can grow, learn, and thrive.
Through education support, mentorship, and compassionate outreach, we seek to strengthen families, restore hope, and empower the next generation to build a brighter future.
How we Mobilized for Missions
We believe that missions begin with seeing people — not as numbers, but as lives with stories, needs, and God-given value.
That’s why we intentionally mobilize our community to serve in orphanages and local ministries, where love can be expressed in the most practical and meaningful ways.
We start by building relationships with orphanages and local leaders to understand real needs. Then we equip and prepare volunteers — spiritually, emotionally, and practically — so that every person who serves does so with humility, respect, and compassion.
