About Us
Our History
United Hands of Love Foundation, AC was founded in 2011 by our founders, Rubi Alvarado and Rolando Coronado. Serving orphans has always been a deep passion in both of their hearts. Rubi grew up in an orphanage from an early age. Growing up in the orphanage system, she noticed the great need to be able to start a successful life with the same opportunities as other young people in the city.
As the years of marriage passed, Rubi and Rolando met young people in foster homes that began look for them for assistance. They opened their house to host some of them despite the few resources they had and the limited space in their home.
This led them to directly experience the great need that exists and to create a space to provide them with tools and resources for them to live respectable lives. At the same time, they needed to collaborate with more people and ministries with the same vision.

In 2020, Rubi and Rolando met with Renewal Missions and its founder, David Pat. Together, they started serving orphans by bringing books to share the Gospel, playing games, doing crafts, and teaching classes in Tijuana.
After two years serving together, God prepared a way for both organizations to continue to serve the children and youth in need in Tijuana. At the end of 2021, after a lot of prayer and discernment, both organizations decided to take a leap of faith with God to open Esperanza for Sons and Daughters with the hope of serving children and youth in need in Tijuana long-term.
After many years God has provided on 2025 a way for Esperanza for Sons and Daughters to have their own 501 c3 in united States, as they continue to grow and expand the vision for all the people in Baja Mexico,

Rolando and Rubi Have the Vision to serve others in need in different places, as they continue to recruit more people to come alongside them to Serve Others in Need.
Our Vision and Mission
We envision a future where orphans have the resources to develop as God-honoring adults.
Team & Volunteers
We have a full team of staff and volunteers who run Esperanza from Monday through Friday in Mexico.
At the Center, we have our Directors, Rolando and Rubi Coronado, who lead a team of 12 volunteers. These volunteers have offered their skills and gifts to teach children and youth every day. Esperanza for Sons and Daughters would not be possible without the help of volunteers who teach children these practical skills every day so that they can take care of themselves in the future, and also enjoy being children!
